before 2008
It is not easy to clear who really has invented the art of sand painting and its implementation as a medium. There are different points of view, but it is obvious that Ilana Yahav from Israel and Ferenc Capo from Hungary have been largely responsible for the first steps positioning the modern form of sand art. Regarding their artistical career, it can be said that they have affected particularly the central European area.
2008
The idea of sand art has gained ground in Germany by passion2move and a creative team in order to develop a unique show concept for an event series through Europe. This exceptional project has lead to an inconceivable effect loaded with enthusiasm and wonderful emotions. Our new sandshow has aroused public interest and convinced critics everywhere. Within our three week tour, in collaboration with the Munich Airport, through Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Our sand artist Jana Federov has performed a creative show that featured mystic animal faces. This marked a new era of sand painting and found its highlight with a live performance in the picturesque city Marrakech, Morocco.
2009
After this unexpected impression, further artists tried to get into this amazing market. The expansion of sand art has occurred mostly in conjunction with gala events. This type of presentation platform offered the greatest potential for plenty of shows. Audience participation has been greater involved in this innovative form of painting. The final step for a comprehensive spread via television has been achieved by Kseniya Simonova, a dignified representative for all international sand artists, as she participated in a Ukrainian TV talent show.
2010
The same talent show made quite a splash, as another sand artist tried to convince the audience with her way of interpreting sand art. It was a put-up affair to call the live performance of Natalya Netselya unique. But nevertheless, this publicity effect pushed the whole sand painting scene and lead to a greater interest on the part of event and media agencies creating entertainment concepts. In this regard we have enlarged our team of sand artists. We are proud of being able to present Maja. Another great artist accompanying Jana Federov. This expansion of our team has influenced the way of sand art performance by passion2move. Since then we are concentrating on individually and exclusively designed sandshow productions with high quality image sequences.

Everything is possible in 2011. Our sandshow has crossed new borders with a unique and innovative live communication concept for a software producer in Germany. Moreover, another charming sand artist has become a member of the p2m sandshow team. Katja has joined the team with a big „bang“ as she performed a sandshow for the international VW Crafter presentation in Malmø, Sweden.
